The light these days is energizing, and with spring on the horizon, there’s a renewed sense of possibility in the studio. 🌿 While the start of this year has been slower in pace than last year, I’ve been exploring ideas that I hope will continue to evolve in the coming months.

In these first months of the year, I’ve been focused on experimentation, creative play, and exploration rather than completed pieces. This feels right for now, and I may just keep this focus for as long as it does.

Looking back, 2024 was a particularly productive year for me. As a naturally slow worker, it was deeply satisfying to bring several paintings to completion, including some that had been in progress for over a year. I thought it would be nice to gather all of last year’s pieces in one place, offering you a glimpse into the themes that developed in my work.

Last year also marked the launch of Hélianthe, my online gallery dedicated to my mother’s memory. ✨If you haven’t explored it yet, I’d love for you to take a look and see the current shows I’ve put together. www.lynnesaintonge.ca/en/helianthe

In a world that often feels uncertain, art remains a constant. As artists, we continue to create, reflect, and share our perspectives. Thank you for being part of this journey—your presence and support mean so much.
